With the thousands of fabricators in the industry it is not feasible to support all of them, which is why we focus on those most used by our customer base. Additional products & manufacturers can always be added to your Solatech software for either an individual customer or in conjunction with a particular manufacturer. Manufacturers who come on board as a member of the Solatech Partnership Alliance (SPA) receive the added benefit of having their product information distributed to the entire customer base nationwide.
Products that are not currently supported by Solatech can be added to the system for an individual customer or for a specific manufacturer. Click here for more information on supported fabricators. Solatech also provides generic configurations that can be used for ordering or quoting non-supported products. However, these do not include comprehensive configuration and pricing data.
Absolutely. All customer output, including quotes, invoices, order confirmations, etc. can be sent to your customer via email directly from the software.
Minor modifications can be made to customer output, with more modifications available for company reporting.

Solatech Focus has an add-on feature that supports exporting Orders, Payments, Purchase Orders, and Customers to QuickBooks Online. This feature saves several hours of data entry per day.
Customer Information, Orders, Purchase Orders, and Payments can be sent to your QuickBooks Online accounting software.
Product & pricing updates from Manufacturers are maintained by Solatech and distributed to our customers automatically. No action is required for Solatech Focus customers to receive updates to current products.
Software updates are included in the price of the software and will be delivered to you automatically. Updates are announced on the Home Page in Focus.
Purchase Orders for manufacturers can be submitted electronically using the Solatech Online Order Processing (OOP) system. This is available to any manufacturer supported by the Solatech system. The capability to accept these orders as an e-mail or to be electronically integrated into the vendors’ system is ultimately their decision. Contact Solatech to see if your manufacturer is connected.
The pricing provided for the manufacturers supported by Solatech or for your own products is the standard published retail pricing. During the setup process for Focus, our staff will configure vendor discounts and retail margins initially, which users can then continue to manage.
Since the system is cloud based, you will have immediate access to additional user’s quotes and orders.
Yes, you can setup additional users with various levels of security depending on their job function.
Each user in Solatech Focus is required to have their own login.
Initial setup is performed by Solatech staff. When the software is delivered, it is configured for your business. Solatech Focus is intuitive and easy to learn. With a bit of practice, most users will be ready to take this in the field in a week or less.
Personalized one on one training is provided initially. There is also a User’s Guide for the software, as well as Knowledge Base articles and Training Videos that are available to you. The articles and videos are added to regularly when updates to the software are released.
The Solatech Focus system is our simplest system to use. If you use a tablet or laptop in your business, you will feel very comfortable with Solatech Focus. Our technical support department is VERY knowledgeable about computers and we are here to help you. If you were the technology expert, you wouldn’t need us.
Once your initial training is concluded, we recommend using our user’s manual, knowledge base articles, and training videos. But further training is available on an appointment basis.
